What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 12:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be arranged — just message us on WhatsApp ahead of time.
Do I need to bring ID?
Yes — a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence) is required for every guest at check-in, as per local regulations.
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Cancellations made closer to the date may be charged for the first night. Confirm exact terms with the host when booking.
Is parking available?
The homestay sits in a narrow historic gali that cars and autos can't enter — the nearest car parking is a short walk away. Two-wheelers can usually be parked safely right by the property.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast isn't included by default but can be arranged for an additional charge — just ask the host.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome in select rooms — let us know in advance so we can confirm the right room for you.
How do I get there from the railway station?
Apna Ghar is about 3–4 km from Varanasi Junction, roughly a 15-minute auto ride followed by a short walk through the lanes (autos can't reach the doorstep). Public transport runs 24/7.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and UPI are accepted on-site. Confirm with the host ahead of arrival if you need a specific payment method.
